During the COVID-19 pandemic, PILO took a groundbreaking step to ensure the safety and well-being of people across the nation. With a vision to make India free from flu and pandemic diseases, PILO introduced innovative hygiene solutions that promoted good hygiene practices at an unprecedented scale.
For the first time in the country, a focused initiative was executed to educate the public on the importance of proper hand hygiene, aligning with WHO recommendations for alcohol-based sanitizers. These sanitizers are recognized as a vital tool in combating the spread of infectious diseases.
In this effort, PILO developed a Chlorhexidine with Ethanol formulation, which quickly became the gold standard in hand sanitization. Known for its effectiveness, ease of use, cost efficiency, and long-lasting protection, this sanitizer contains at least 70% ethanol and eliminates 99.9% of bacteria on hands in just 30 seconds.
